The hooks themselves are sturdy. They flip up and down with a nice click in both positions. The horizontal surfaces are covered with a thin leather imitation material that will protect the finish on whatever they are displaying.The mounting hardware is another story. None of the screws were straight and wobbled a lot. On the first 5 I put into the wall, 3 of them had the heads twist off when they are about halfway into the studs. Had to use some I had, and will have to paint them to match the hooks.The leather covering on these hooks is a nice touch. They’re solid and close up small. Clean lookLOOKS NICE. They are slightly heavy with a decent gauge metal. They mount easily and will hold most any firearm. Just be sure to secure to a wall stud.
