as advertisedI got this cord to replace the drawstrings on some pants I'm trying to sell. It seems nice and sturdy and you get a *lot* of length with this spool.I needed to replace all of the waist and ankle cords of nine pairs of pants with ≈44" waists and 36" wide legs at the ankles, so I needed quite a lot of cording.I was a bit worried that whatever I bought wouldn't end up being long enough, but I've got a good 40 feet left on the spool to figure out something to do with.I don't know how the cut ends hold up when washed or used often, but they don't seem to come undone too much after roughing them up for a bit. I definitely recommend this for anyone needing to replace drawstrings!Oh man I love this cord! I know people usually say not to fluff up braided cord, but let me tell you, I took the time lol and the mess, but the results were magnificent!!! The cord is strong and gives the project a lot of structure, and if you take the time (a lot of time) to fluff it out it will give you pieces the best finishI don't like twisted twines that unravel, and that is where this stuff shines. It will NOT unravel or untwist with use, and it's been very helpful around the house.Not sure what I can use this for. I can't use it for the purpose I bought it. It's too thin. Very much too thin in fact.Very pleased with the product and the price!I purchased the red cotton cord for a crochet project that I had in mind, and it worked great. It is not round, which I knew when I ordered it, but that did not matter at all. I am so pleased with it that I have ordered more.
