I bought these for my daughter who was tired of having her clothes slip off the hangers and wide up on the closet floor. Not a good scene when you are trying to get ready for work and your duds have been cavorting with the dust bunnies (yes, we all have those) Neither of us like the thick plastic hangers as they take up too much room on the rack. I found these and gave them a try. They are sturdy, the clothes are gripped well at the shoulders and do NOT slide off the hanger...not even her heavy cardigans!!! Of course, she doesn't have all of her hangers as I have borrowed a few! No matter, I can order more. These do the job, are slim yet strong and her closet is neat and orderly. Also no delays in getting out of the house on time because the clothes are where they should be...on these great hangers!Hi recommended!I wanted hangers that were slim like the velvet hangers but shirts and knits don't stick to these. The ribbing keeps tops in place but allows for movement without stretching the clothes. Quite sturdy too. Haven't had one break yet so I ordered another 50.Great hangers.
