What is the maximum weight capacity of this surfboard wall rack? It’s about the weight of 30LBS/14KGS per level, up to 120LBS in total! We tested it with far more weight, but for long-lasting use, we recommend a maximum total weight of 120LBS for the rack. That’s plenty for most boards. Is the installation of this surfboard wall rack easy for someone who is not handy? Totally! We made sure it's a breeze, even if you're not the DIY type. You only need to attach the 4 arms to the wall plates with bolts and after that each rack can be mounted to the wall with 3 screws. All hardware and a clear manual is included. Can the surf board rack be mounted on any wall? Yep! Slap it on stud walls, cinder block walls – you name it. It comes with all the hardware, including drywall mounting. If possible we do recommend screwing into a stud to ensure maximum security.
